My JUUL is leaking

There are a few things you can try if your JUUL is leaking:

  • Try using a gentle puff on the mouthpiece. Puffing hard on the JUULpods can force juice up into the air path.
  • It's best to avoid squeezing or applying pressure to the sides of the JUULpods, as this may force liquid up into the air path and cause leaking.
  • When inserting your pod, place your fingers on the outer edges of the hard plastic mouthpiece to avoid squeezing the pod as it clicks into place.
  • If a bit of juice has come up into the air path you can try tapping the pod out on a tissue upside down, wipe it off and reinsert it into the device.

Additionally, an excerpt from JUUL directly can show you that a bit of leakage is not the end of the world, and is actually not uncommon:

"JUULpods subject to excessive humidity or a drastic altitude change may experience a minor amount of condensation or leakage. If your JUULpod leaks, it's best to avoid direct contact with the liquid. If you get liquid on your hands, simply wash with soap and water. You may continue using a JUULpod if some liquid has escaped, but carefully wipe the liquid off with a clean cloth or tissue before inserting into your device."

If you're still having difficulties, please get in touch and we'll be able to offer a solution, provided you bought the product from us and can supply us with an Electric Tobacconist order number (eg ETUSA12345). We always suggest keeping all defective material until you feel as though a resolution has been reached, as you may be asked to return items.

If you bought the product from a physical store, or JUUL direct, we would not be able to help you.
